YouTuber Farhan Tanveer Fahim, son of Srimangal, a student of Moulvibazar Polytechnic Institute, was found 8 hours after he went missing.
Fahim left home at 11:30 am for the examination.
Fahim’s uncle, General Secretary of Srimangal Press Club, Imam Hossain Sohail, said that Fahim left home at 11:30 am on Saturday (April 3, 2021) to participate in the examination. He has been missing ever since he left home. He could not be reached on the phone. After a whole day of searching, he was found at 7:30 pm and brought to Srimangal at 10:30 pm.
After receiving the news of finding Fahim on the phone, his father and uncle first rescued him from the Sylhet City Corporation garbage dump in Moglabazar, Moglabazar, Sylhet, and took him to Srimangal police station in a mentally unstable condition. Fahim is now undergoing treatment at Srimangal Upazila Health Complex.
He also said that the originator was Awami Terrorist Organizational Secretary Junel Tarafder because a few days ago Junel Tarafder came to my house and offered to spread the news of the development of the area on his behalf before the union election. You have not done any development work in the area. Then he got mad at us and said, “Where did you come from so honest, where did you come from?” He slapped me on the cheek and blood came out from my butt. My nephew Fahim was next to me and pushed Junel, then Junel
hit the wall and hit his head. And with 4 to 5 people who are with him, we have a fight, at one stage of the fight Junel threatens that I can’t keep your nephew alive, he leaves and we get worried because Junel is a terrible killer.
He has committed many murders in the past for which there is no justice yet.
His father Amjad Hossain Bachchu, a member of the Srimangal Business Association and a journalist, said that Fahim’s college called him at 3 pm on Saturday and informed him that he had not given the exam. He was absent in the examination hall. Since then we started looking for Fahim. He could not be found. After a lot of searching, around 7:30 in the evening, an unknown number called Fahim and informed about his location. Later we went to Moglabazar in Sylhet to bring him. When I went there, I found out that the locals rescued him from the garbage dump. At that time, he was wearing a torn genji and pants. A Samsung mobile phone, school bag, shirt and shoes were not found with him.
When Fahim was brought to Srimangal after the rescue, he told Humayun Kabir, OC (Investigation) of Srimangal police station, that he got off the non-stop bus called Habiganj Express at Moulvibazar bus stand and went to Chaumohana in Moulvibazar. He got off the TomTom and arranged an autorickshaw to go to the college. From then on he could not say anything more. When he suddenly regained consciousness, he noticed that he was lying in the dark inside a tin house. Fahim got up and opened the door of the room and ran out. Later he ran for about 3 to 4 kilometers and contacted his family with the help of local people on the side of the road.
